Apple was one of the first tech companies to make a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. The company has set a goal of becoming 100% powered by renewable energy and has already achieved 85% for its global operations. To reach this goal, Apple has invested in solar and wind farms around the world and is using advanced energy storage techniques such as fuel cells and battery storage systems. Additionally, Apple plans to reduce packaging waste by using recycled materials for its products wherever possible.
Google is another tech giant that is taking steps to reduce its carbon footprint. In 2007, Google made a commitment to become carbon neutral by 2020, and since then the company has continued to invest in renewable energy projects around the world. In addition to investing in solar and wind farms, Google also uses innovative technologies such as geoengineering and direct air capture to capture carbon emissions from the atmosphere.

Microsoft is another tech giant that is taking steps towards sustainability with initiatives such as its Microsoft Azure Carbon Offset Program which allows customers to purchase renewable energy credits to offset their electricity usage from Azure services. Microsoft is also investing heavily in clean energy sources such as solar power plants in Australia, Ireland, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, France & Norway among other countries worldwide. Additionally, Microsoft recently announced plans for a new “carbon fee” program which will charge internal teams based on their carbon emissions per product or service developed within the company’s ecosystem – making it one of the first companies of its kind to do so!

Tesla Motors is leading the way when it comes to electric vehicles (EVs). The company has invested heavily in research & development over the past few years which has allowed them to create some of the most efficient EVs on the market today – like their popular Model 3 sedan which can travel up to 300 miles on single charge! Tesla Motors also offers home charging solutions for EV owners which help reduce environmental impact even further by eliminating the need for gas stations altogether!
