WoW TBC – What You Need to Know About Alchemy Specializations

The role of alchemy is an important one in WoW TBC. Here’s what you need to know about it.

Alchemy is an important factor in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. This is further enhanced when you get the opportunity to use specializations. Whilst there are many benefits, such as being able to make more WoW TBC gold or make use of certain WoW TBC Classic items, there is a lot you need to know about how these specializations first.

What are Alchemy Specializations?

After you have reached level 68 and skill 325 in Alchemy, you will then have the opportunity to start a quest to learn one of the specializations. There are three in total, which include potion, elixir and transmutation. If you are familiar with Burning Crusade power leveling then it hopefully won’t take you too long to get to this point.

There are benefits to you using Alchemy Specializations. They give the chance for you to make extra WoW TBC Classic items when you are crafting any elixirs, transmutations or potions. An example of this is if you side with transmutations, then you can get multiple primal might with the materials you have that are required to make just one.

Quests

As mentioned, there are some quests that you can take to get these alchemy specializations. So, once you have gone through the WoW TBC power leveling process for alchemy you can start questing. You are able to switch the alchemy specializations that you have for 150 WoW TBC gold. This price isn’t going to break the bank, so you shouldn’t have to buy WoW TBC gold unless you really need to. What’s more, you don’t have to focus on the quest for the alchemy specialization that you want to change to either. Just do the quest that will cost the least and is easier for you to complete.

If you are going to use this method, then you should look into the potion method first. You can then either switch to elixir or transmutation if you wish. If you’re doing potion master, you will only need a handful of potions and to make a botanica run. If you have the WoW TBC gold available, then you could do the transmute potion master instead, but it will cost you a lot when starting off in Burning Crusade. You would also need a number of Black Morass if you’re to do the elixir master quest, so you might want to start off with potion master.

For the Master of Potions quest, you need to go to Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh, and retrieve the quest from Lauranna Thar’well. In order to complete this quest, you will need the Botanist’s Field Guide, which you get from Botanica’s second boss. You’ll also need five healing, mana and major dreamless sleep potions.

To get the Master of Elixirs quest, you need to go to Shattrath City and speak with Lorokeem. You will need five elixirs of major defence, five elixir of mastery, and five elixirs of major agility. You’re also going to have to get 10 Essences of Infinity from Black Morass as well. It is going to take you more than one run in most situations, due to the drop rate.

Finally, if you want to try the Master of Transmutation first, then you have to go to Netherstorm. From here, go to Stormspire and find Zarevhi. You will need to have four primal might if you are to complete this quest.

How to Change Alchemy Specialization

If you do decide that you want to change your alchemy specialization, then it is super easy to do so. First off, we need to go to the relevant trainer who taught you the current alchemy specialization that you have. Next, we are going to pay 150g from our hard-earned WoW TBC gold to unlearn the current specialization. This will then let you see any of the trainers of the alchemy specializations so that you can get the quest that you are looking for.

To start out with, your best option would be Master of Potions. When we are first delving into the expansion, we are going to want to take it nice and easy. This means opting for the easier option and not having to break the bank as well. Hopefully, this should have given you a better idea on what to expect with alchemy specialization. It can be very effective, but you are going to need to work towards it before you can take advantage of the benefits that it offers.
